The NAPWDA President may appoint a NAPWDA Regular or Associate member as a SAR (Search and Rescue) Liaison for the various state, area or country with members. SAR Liaisons promote NAPWDA in their state, area or country. They hold, or assist in holding, at least one NAPWDA State Workshop each year. SAR Liaisons attend the Executive Committee meetings and present their respective report, investigate and make recommendations for awards for NAPWDA members from their area or country and assist NAPWDA members in contacting a NAPWDA Master Trainer to conduct SAR certification testing.
