2024 New York State Workshop

The Yates County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit is pleased to announce our annual training seminar. We have put together a staff of highly qualified and dedicated instructors. Both NAPWDA and New York State certifications will be offered. Certifications will be held Monday and Tuesday, with the rest of the week available for training…tactical, scenario-based, problem-solving. A public K-9 Demonstration is planned, we ask each attendee to bring a uniform and participate in the event. 

We take care of all reservations; please do not contact the motel. Attendees will be doubled up, if you have a preference on whom you room with, let us know. A limited amount of single rooms can be arranged for an additional fee. 

This year’s seminar is $750.00 per team. This includes all instruction material, lodging, breakfast, and dinner (meals begin with breakfast on Monday, October 21st). Participants are on their own for lunch. If your department has “Air soft” or simunition weapons, feel free to bring them for the tactical and reality-based training scenarios.
